John A. Boden J.D., C.P.A.
Imagine a lawyer who wasn’t always a lawyer. Instead, see a man who worked in steel, construction, agriculture, and who took part in several start-up companies before graduating “Summa Cum Laude” in business economics. Picture a dedicated father and husband who earned his law degree while concurrently earning his Masters of Accountancy and supporting a beautiful wife and several children. This is a man who understands life, hard work, and the law. This is John A. Boden J.D., C.P.A.
Prior to law school, John enjoyed working in a variety of areas that contributed to his practical knowledge and ability to relate to people from all walks of life. After earning his law degree, he worked as a prosecutor for municipalities in Utah County and Salt Lake County and settled or tried the cases as needed. He also worked as a public defender. John’s familiarity with the criminal justice system and his well-known integrity earned him the honor and responsibility of reviewing a capital punishment case for the State of Utah.
Because of his varied work and life experience, John’s legal expertise extends through technology into oil & gas, mining, risk management, and estate planning. His transactional work and in-court experience is extensive, and he is known for keeping an eye on what is best for his clients. He determines the best solutions within the parameters, but he does so by thinking outside-the-box.
